  • - granulated sugar (1 kg);
  • - fresh juice of a lemon (3 tablespoons);
  • - vanillin (10 g).
  • Imitation of corn syrup:
  • - granulated sugar (200 g);
  • - water (80 ml);
  • - citric acid (0.5 teaspoons);
  • - baking soda on a knife tip.

Instruction

1. Clean corncobs and cut them circles couple centimeters thick. Put the crushed products in the enameled pan with cold water, bring to the boil then boil thoroughly them on small fire within 1-1.5 hours. Don't forget to stir pan contents from time to time. A half of liquid in ware has to boil away.

2. Remove ears, filter corn meal water through a small sieve and pour it in a clean pan. Add granulated sugar, table salt and vanillin to liquid, then carefully vent all ingredients. Blanch a fresh lemon in boiled water within three minutes then take for a drive him, strongly pressing a hand to a table surface.
