How to make mastic

Mastic is a soft plastic edible weight with which decorate cakes. From mastic it is possible to mold various figures, as from plasticine. The complexity of figures will depend only on your ability and imagination. We will prepare chocolate mastic.

It is required to you

  • 100 g of dark chocolate
    • 90 g of a marshmallow
    • 100 g of icing sugar
    • 1 tablespoons of a desi
    • 40 ml of cream (30%)
    • 5 drops of lemon juice
    • small saucepan
    • spoon
    • food wrap
    • sieve

Instruction

1. Break chocolate small pieces. Put it in a saucepan and kindle on weak fire to homogeneous mass. Add a marshmallow, pour in cream, oil, to add lemon juice. Mix until weight doesn't become liquid and homogeneous. Remove from fire.

2. Sift icing sugar. Add it to hot weight. To stir constantly with a spoon until weight becomes dense and elastic. Continue to knead mastic a hand. Continue to add icing sugar until weight doesn't become similar to soft plasticine. Mastic doesn't stick to hands.

3. Mastic is ready to a molding of various figures. If you plan to be engaged in a molding later, then give to mastic the form of a sphere, inwrap in food wrap and put in the fridge. Before the following use slightly warm in the microwave.
