- strawberry – 1 kg; - sugar – 600 g; - a juniper – 10 berries; - vodka – 4 tablespoons (some culinary specialists recommend to take 3.5 spoons); - balsam vinegar – 6 tablespoons; - fresh rosemary – 1-2 branches; - a black sprinkling pepper – a pinch.

Then it is possible to pass to preparation. Strawberry should be washed out in several waters, to eliminate the spoiled fruits, to fill up good berry with sugar, to set aside before emergence of juice. Then to mix fruits with juniper berries and rosemary, to shift them from a cup in a pan and to put on fire for 2 minutes. After time the pan needs to be removed from fire, to pour berry into any cool ware and to leave for the whole night. For protection of jam against hit of insects, for example, of midges, capacity should be covered with a gauze. It is necessary to continue preparation of jam - to pour in it in balsam vinegar and vodka in the morning, to put largely ground pepper, to put on very weak fire.
