How to make whey

Whey is a by-product by production of cottage cheese. Serum turns out as a result of coagulation of milk. This product contains a set valuable micro and macrocells and also proteins very useful to digestion and our organism in general. It isn't difficult to prepare serum especially as in addition a product you receive great home-made cottage cheese.

It is required to you

  • 2 liters of milk;
    • 1 teaspoon of sour cream;
    • sieve;

Instruction

1. Add sour cream to milk and stir.

2. Put milk to the warm place for turning sour for day.

3. Pour out the turned sour milk in a pan and put on a water bath for 25-30 minutes. Don't stir slowly.

4. When milk turns, remove it from fire.

5. Cover a sieve with a gauze and decant serum from cottage cheese.

6. Tie cottage cheese in a gauze to press and remove residues of serum.

7. Cool serum.

8. Store ready serum in the fridge.
