Mannik – very tasty confectionery pastries made with addition of semolina at the expense of which it becomes friable and air. Usually prepare a mannik on sour cream, but it can quite be replaced with kefir.

It is required to you

  • 2 eggs
    • half-glass of sugar
    • 100 g of margarine
    • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
    • 5 l of kefir
    • 300 g of semolina
    • half-glass of wheat flour
    • tablespoon of lemon juice
    • half of a teaspoon of soda

Instruction

1. Yolks from two eggs pound and a half a glass of granulated sugar to white foam. Separately beat whites with couple of tablespoons of sugar before formation of abrupt foam and mix them with yolks.

2. Warm 100 g of margarine or a desi before dissolution and pour in egg and sugar mix. Track the main thing that the kindled fat wasn't hot, otherwise eggs will turn in flakes.

3. Add two tablespoons of mayonnaise and pour in 0.5 l of kefir. Weight is carefully stirred then pour 300 g of semolina and a half-glass of a sifted flour.

4. It is good to knead and leave dough for one hour for swelling of semolina. While it infuses, prepared a baking pan of a mannik. Its surface is oiled vegetable and strewed with semolina then overturn for removal of excess grain.

5. Add a half of a spoon of the baking soda extinguished in a tablespoon of lemon juice to the infused dough, and spread in the prepared form. Bake a mannik of kefir in not hot oven within half an hour

6. For readiness definition, pierce it a match if dough doesn't stick, it means that a mannik пропекся. It is taken out from a form on a dish, cooled then strew with icing sugar with vanillin.
