It looks so: the upper part of the newspaper densely adjoins to trunk (she can be tied linen rope), and lower has to depart from bark a little. Glue is applied on inside of bottom edge of the newspaper (short skirt hem). When putting glue it is better to put on gloves, otherwise there is risk to injure skin of hands. That insects could not pass between slots, the upper edge of the newspaper needs to be covered with the garden thief. It is not harmful to bark of tree and will not pass any wrecker. Such way allows to protect bark from glue influence, at the same time the newspaper will close glue from rain and sunshine.
In the early spring the glue belt reliably protects fruit-tree, doing not pass tsvetoyed, and later it will interfere with the settlement of caterpillars of apple-tree fir seed moth. Besides it bars the way to ants which carry plant louse on plants. This easy and effective way of protection of trees helps to receive good harvest of apples and other fruit.
