The greens planted in big flowerpot will be pleasing also to the eye the beauty and to charm sense of smell by pleasant aroma. And still it can be used for preparation of useful and tasty salads.
It is required to you
- - clay pot with a diameter about 40 cm with opening
- - clay crocks, pebble or gravel
- - earth for flowers
- - scoop
- - the crushed pine bark
- - sage
- - basil (2 pieces)
- - fennel
- - marjoram
- - rosemary
- - parsley (4 pieces)
Instruction
1. Fill pot bottom with beaten clay crocks to cover opening in the bottom, on them from above place five-centimetric layer of pebble or gravel. Fill pot with the soil, having left 4 cm from edge. Humidify the earth.
2. Put sage in the center of pot. Place it more deeply – so it will better take roots. Slightly condense the soil around plant. Around sage bush at approximately equal distance put rosemary, fennel and basil. On edge of pot plant marjoram and parsley. If to place plants under small inclination to edge of pot, they will picturesquely hang down when grow up. Except spicy herbs, in green pot it is possible to plant sheet salad and also flowers, for example, marigold or lavender.
3. Water it is abundant the soil and complete process by mulching by pine bark. Put pot with plants on the solar place protected from wind. That on stone or wooden surfaces under pots not esthetic spots because of the moisture which is condensed under pot were not formed, place pot on "legs". Do not allow full drying of the earth in pots, water plants 1-2 times a day. Remember that the aroma of greens can fully reveal, only if plants well get warm the sun.
