1. This material represents the pro-thinned-out steel sheet which is covered with protecting polymeric or galvanized cover. The professional flooring has lateral rigidity. It is formed as a result of rolling of profile of different height and configuration. Standard height of profile – 20 mm. It should be noted, material has additional stiffening fins. With their help the material resistance to dynamic loads increases.
2. You can lay professional flooring on garage roof without effort. At installation of roof from professional flooring special attention needs to be paid to the correct laying of sheets. It completely depends on roof inclination. If roof bias less than 14 degrees, then you need to do horizontal overlap of the next sheets more than 200 mm. If the bias makes 15-30 degrees, then the overlap of 150-200 mm is necessary. If bias more than 30 degrees, then do overlap of 100-150 mm. At small bias you will need to use silicone sealant for sealing of horizontal and vertical overlaps.
3. It is necessary to fix material directly to wood structures of roof. Use special roofing self-tapping screws for this purpose. They have neoprene laying and sharp drill on the end. Fastening is made in the lower part of wave. The fad has to be fixed in the upper part by big self-tapping screws. When mounting roof surely lay materials which are capable to provide hydro- and vapor barrier. Consider, there has to be gap for ventilation of subroofing space.
4. It is worth paying special attention to the choice of furring. Its size depends on inclination of roof and height of crepe paper of the applied professional leaf. If inclination level less than 15 degrees, then furring has to be continuous. The overlap in this case is recommended to be done in two waves. At roof tilt angles more than 15 degrees, furring are carried out with step of 350-500 mm.
