The Alpine hills, rock gardens, rock arias are popular ways of registration of personal plots. Competently made, they not only look beautifully, but also are always original because it is impossible to create two absolutely identical Alpine hills. Process of creation of rock garden is labor-consuming, but the result will cost your efforts.

1. Choose the place, suitable for the Alpine hill. It has to be rather solar and be in that place where will be pleasing to the eye. If your site is still made not really habitable, think where it is more convenient to arrange paths, so that the Alpine hill did not disturb on pass subsequently.
2. Draw the project of future rock garden. Remember that considerable part of time (fall-spring) the Alpine hill will be deprived of plants, so, it has to be decoration of the site irrespective of its gardening.
3. Prepare the place for rock garden. Dig ditch where fill up drainage (it can be beaten brick, filling brick and even construction waste).
4. From above fill up drainage with sand, and afterwards - fertile soil.
5. Choose suitable stones of the average and large size. Stones should not be the correct form, naturalness and ""wildness"" - the main characteristics of beautiful rock garden.
6. Stack hill tiers from below up. At the same time stack stones of the bigger size below, the others respectively - the higher, the it is less by the size. Leave rather free the place for landings and do not try to obtain accurate symmetry, but do not allow situation when as a result of creations of rock garden the stones are chaotically scattered among thickets.
7. After the tier is ready, plant the plants chosen by you. When choosing plants consider not only their height, coloring, compliance to weather conditions, but also degree of dependence of one plant on the neighbourhood with others.
8. Choose generally low plants. Coniferous will help to make your rock garden green all the year round. Choose the blossoming plants taking into account the period of their blossoming - better that they replaced each other all summer.
9. After landing of plants water the hill and at first water quite often. It is also necessary to loosen the earth and to weed weeds.
