The main style to kitchen is set by kitchen facades. They have to be in harmony with all other furniture and finishing materials. So when choosing kitchen facades it is necessary to consider many factors that such corner of your apartment as kitchen, became convenient, cozy and functional.
1. It is possible to choose facades as material of which they are made. Kitchen facades from tree are the most expensive and durable. From pluses it is possible to note their environmental friendliness, resistance to mechanical damages, durability, possibility of restoration in case of wear. Minus of such facades is the property of tree to absorb moisture, depending on its level they can inflate or dry out in limits ± 2 mm. Such facades, as a rule, leave in natural color, it gives them nobility, but also their coloring in different colors is not excluded.
2. The second most popular and not less functional is MDF facades. They are shponirovanny or enameled, film PVC, plastic, glass. From pluses and advantages it is possible to mark out variety of flowers and types of covering: glossy, opaque, semi-gloss, chameleon, metallic, etc. Such facades are not afraid of temperature drops and not too absorb moisture. There are also shortcomings: on them fingerprints are accurately visible, they are subject to mechanical damages and if there is need of restoration, the question with selection of color will be difficult.
3. The most budgetary option of the choice of facades is chipboard. Besides low cost they have also other advantages. Production of such facades is the fastest, they can be covered with laminate which has big color gamut. And besides the laminated front part of kitchen is resistant to moisture and pollution, it is extremely difficult to scratch it, and here to look after her – easily. The lack of such facades is that they cannot be made impressive, their surface will always be smooth.
4. Facades from the laminated chipboard exist in two executions: covered with plastic or melamine. Both covering allow to achieve mirror and glossy or opaque surface. Plus of such facing of kitchen furniture is that its surface is moisture resistant, to it scratches and dents are not terrible, it has big variety of color schemes. Such facades resemble superficially colored MDF which is several times more expensive than plastic. From minuses it is possible to allocate that when putting plastic or melamine on chipboard roughnesses – the so-called effect of ""shagreen leather"" arising owing to coarse-grained structure of chipboard are visible.
5. Glass facades are made of the red-hot glass which is painted over on the one hand, and pasted to MDF plate. Their advantage is that glass can be both glossy, and opaque, and it is possible to apply the drawing on reverse side. Such facades place in aluminum frame or leave without it with cut facet. From shortcomings it is possible to note that they require thorough care as on facades from glass greasy spots, traces from water and prints are well visible.
6. As you can see, the choice of kitchen facades is not so small, you need to weigh only pluses and minuses and to stop the choice on that front part of kitchen which suits you on all key moments.
