Before starting creation of reservoir from bathtub, it is necessary to study some requirements of its creation, having only considered them, you will be able to make such pond which will serve long time.
First, it is necessary to choose correctly the place for creation of pond: territories which are lit with direct sunshine no more than eight hours a day, optimal variant - five-six hours are preferable.

- old bathtub;
- sand;
- crushed stone;
- cement;
- tiled glue;
- ornamental plants;
- clay;
- metal gauze;
- round stones;
- steel wire.
First of all measure length, width and height of bathtub and dig out hole on the site of the same width and length chosen by you that bathtub, but depth 10-15 centimeters bigger, than height of the bathtub.
After that place in the dug-out hole the prepared bathtub (assistants will be required here and if the bathtub has the impressive sizes, then not to do without winch), check its horizontal position construction level and if everything is all right - fill up slots between the earth and capacity crushed stone and sand, properly stamp.

After drying of glue it is possible to start installation of grid. Leave the created design for several days that it has properly dried.
As soon as solution dries, fill on bathtub bottom dry clay (if you wish to plant living plants in reservoir), then dull to set of water. It should be noted that set of water has to be made accurately that clay was not washed away.
The artificial reservoir is ready, now it can and be decorated. For decor it is possible to use any plants, having attached them to bathtub bottom, stones, having placed them around pond small groups, etc. Quite organically hygrophilous plants look near such twig, they can be got in specialized shops and to put directly near reservoir.
