The word "siding" - in translation from English "the covering, external covering" means literally. But at the present stage the concept of siding includes material and technology of covering of facade panels. They can be vinyl, wooden, cement and steel. Today, thanks to low cost of material, simplicity of mounting and long life cycle, vinyl panels are the most popular.

1. Buy siding personally to have opportunity to feel it the hands and most to examine.
2. Check flexibility of material: it has to amortize at the slightest deformation (excessively firm siding easily crumbles).
3. Check color external and inside of panels. Uniform (without flows) the color of both parties and in one tone speaks about high quality of production of panels.
4. Examine and stroke palm face side of the panel - better that it was opaque as glossy panels strongly heat up in the sun and deformations are exposed, besides they "burn out" quicker and lose the initial color.
5. Look at side cut of the panel: it has to be uniform without differences and bubbles – any defects speak about the low-quality equipment for production of panels and further will reduce siding life cycle.
6. Pay attention to nail openings, they have to be oblong shape – it will allow the panel in the future at temperature variation freely to move.
7. Learn from the seller the country manufacturer, warranty period (up to 50 years of guarantee) and about availability of certificates on siding: certificate of fire safety, hygienic certificate, certificate of conformity.
8. Learn about availability of the auxiliary parts painted in color of the siding chosen by you (it will allow not to break the chosen building decor).
9. Remember when choosing siding what cheap good does not happen. Too tempting low price has to guard and push you on more careful check of materials and spare parts.
10. Be sure that having established vinyl siding, the owner for many years provides to the house beautiful exterior and does not spend further money for frequent updates and alterations of facade.
