If you have established new interroom door, but box old, or you have refused services of mounting of doors at the order of new set of door, you need to cut loops independently. This process demands the accuracy as the wrong mounting will lead to such troubles as leaky closing, "utopany" doors, scratch, etc.
It is required to you
- - loops;
- - self-tapping screws;
- - screw-driver or screw driver;
- - chisel;
- - knife with thin edge;
- - hammer.
Instruction
1. At first examine door case and choose the place for loops. It is better to cut loops in interroom door equally spaced from top and from bottom, but if other doors are near, copy level from them. Estimate wood condition in the place where you plan installation, the noticed knots, cracks, chips can strongly weaken design therefore it is better to establish loop slightly above or below.
2. If door heavy, for example, from the massif of oak or with big glass inserts, establish additional loop slightly below than the top loop (on 15-20 cm) to lower loading.
3. Apply the lower part of loop to the place where it will be located, and circle with pencil contour. Fasten it on two self-tapping screws temporarily to record and sharp knife with thin edge cut through wood along fibers, it is possible even on depth equal to loop metal thickness.
4. Turn off self-tapping screws and by means of sharp chisel and the hammer remove tree layer, without overstepping noted bounds. As a result the loop has to get precisely to the made opening so that its surface precisely coincided with box surface.
5. Fasten the lower part of loop on all 4 self-tapping screws by means of the screw-driver or the screw driver. In the same way fix the second loop. Not to confuse part, note them marker from within.
6. Pass upper parts of loops and apply door. You will precisely expose all gaps so that the door sat ideally exactly. Put door on edge and record two self-tapping screws loop. Then in the same way cut wood layer so that "to drown" loop in surface of door cloth.
7. If the loop sits in box or door too deeply, it can lead to the fact that the door will be badly closed, in that case turn off self-tapping screws and enclose piece of dense cardboard under metal. Then return loop into place.
