When carrying out repair and finishing work in the apartment the correct undercutting, joining and adjustment of corners of various decorative elements, for example, of ceiling or floor plinth and also sheet materials is required.

- - construction square;
- - pencil;
- - hacksaw;
- - sharp knife;
- - metal ruler.
Instruction
1. Most often it is necessary to cut plinth for internal corners of the room. For undercutting install it in the miter box fixed in motionless state. Press the edge a little further of cut on the mark of 45 degrees located on the right. Cut off plinth hacksaw blade. If its long part is on the right, the cut-off corner will be right-hand, respectively, at the left – left-side.
2. Remember that that party of plinth which during trimming of corner nestles on miter box sidewall when mounting will be pasted to wall, and that party that nestles on miter box bottom, will be pasted to ceiling. Having cut off two corners: left and right, place product in corners to check the accuracy of the made cuts. Correct small discrepancies by means of sharp knife.
3. Less often in apartments external corners meet. When cutting plinth for registration of such corners it is necessary to make, first of all, mark at the beginning of external corner. For this purpose on marking drive product into the corner and pencil make mark of edge of corner of wall where the cut will be made. Notice that before drawing tag the plinth has to be prepared for pokleyka, that is have the cut-off internal corner or to be ready to direct joining.
4. Lay plinth in the miter box and press. If its long part is located at the left, make cut on the left tag of the miter box corresponding to corner of 45 degrees. The party pressed to sidewall as when cutting internal corner, when mounting it will be pasted to wall.
5. At pokleyka you watch that bottom side of external corner corresponded to external corner of wall or slightly supported it. Cut off the right part of corner in the same way.
6. For cutting of corner on the wide plane use the construction square. Apply it so that internal part densely adjoined to product face. Apply long metal ruler to bevel and on its length draw solid line which will serve as marking for sawing off of corner in 45 degrees.
