The modern door lock is complex system of the locking devices. Not only duration of life cycle of door and the blocking device, but also personal security and safety of property of the owner depends on the correct installation of the lock.

Instruction
1. Having chosen the door lock, attentively study its instruction. The lock can be box, laid on, with availability or lack of the handle. As a rule, the lock crashes at the height from 90 to 110 cm from floor. The scarves put most often on outer doors fasten by means of screws. They are twisted from inside face of door cloth and binding.
2. Chisel and drill make opening under lock rod. Then apply the lock and designate the provision of its front level at face. Chisel do for it deepening, the so-called slot. Again apply the lock to door and pencil mark places of screwing of screws. Notice that the level should not support surface of door face at all. Fix the lock and, having covered door, mark the provision of locking box. Mount it also by means of screws.
3. At insert of the lock with the handle supplied with opening for key in framed cloth, avoid placement it opposite to average bar of jamb. Otherwise "spiked" connection of door will be loosened. Having put the lock to binding the edge party, circle it with pencil, having planned tie-in location. By means of pricker note the place of the well for key. Then transfer placement of the lock to side of binding and note thickness of key system.
4. On the contour put with pencil from face of door drill openings. Their depth has to be equal to lock length. Chisel on contour do dredging. Try on the lock, circle contour of its face and do deepening aflush with door frame.
5. For level installation site marking on door case rub with chalk bolt, close door and carefully turn key. The mark left by chalk is the place for "slot". It is possible to apply on doorframe opposite to crossbar layer of plasticine and by means of key to put forward bolt. The print will serve as opening marking for locking level. In the right place do dredging and fix level.
