When mounting ventilation system there can be questions connected with fastening of air ducts. Now there are several ways of their installation. You can choose the most suitable.

1. You can fix rectangular air ducts by means of pins and profile. They are Z- and L-shaped. These fasten profile on self-tapping screws. There are no serious differences between L- and Z-sections. Profile Z is usually used for fastening of more massive air duct. The additional corner will support air duct body from below. The design has good rigidity. Pay attention, in those places where profile fasten to pin, rubber sealants have to be established. They are capable to compensate easy fluctuations of air duct and also to reduce noise level. If you need to establish rectangular air duct of impressive dimensions, then use for fastening of pin and traverses.
2. At this mounting mode the air duct has to lean on traverse. Side movements will be absent thanks to pins. For density of adherence it is recommended between air duct and traversy to lay special rubber sealant. At traverse fastening you should not injure air duct body self-tapping screws. For this reason this way best of all is suitable for installation of the warm and soundproofed air channels.
3. If you need to establish air duct which has circular section, then use collars and pins. With their help you can establish the normal and heatsoundproofed air ducts. Work will require collars of necessary diameters.
4. In certain cases for fastening of round and rectangular air ducts use punched tape. In the first case it is necessary to do loop, and in the second – to hook on punched tape for bolt in position of joints of air ducts among themselves. This fastening differs in low cost. However it has very many shortcomings. Fastening will not provide due rigidity. The air duct can "walk" and vibrate.
