Instruction
1. Take a closer look at the room and decide on what wall and in what its place the hinged shelf will be located to look conveniently and well in the general context. It is for this purpose better to take the shelf and to put it to that site of wall surface, where as you assume, it will hang. If the new part fits into interior - it is possible to get to work safely.
2. Examine the shelf and define whether any opportunities for fastening are provided on it. If is not present, then it is necessary to do the procedure, standard, suitable for any wooden shelf. For this purpose go to household shop or to the market and get two-three metal corners of suitable size.
3. Put fixing corner to the rear left edge of surface of the shelf so that at contact with wall it the vertical part densely adjoined to it. Take pencil and make on the shelf mark (in the form of point or small circle) - through opening in corner. Then likewise put the second corner to the right edge of the shelf and put mark from that party.
4. Take drill and drill of small diameter, drill in the surface of the shelf two openings - in those places where you have made marks. Then again put one corner and attach it to the shelf by means of not the really long self-tapping screw of suitable diameter (to pick up the self-tapping screw easily approximately). Do the same with the second corner, and the system of fastening of your hinged shelf is ready.
5. Apply the shelf to wall on the chosen place once again, record it in just the same situation in what she will then settle down. Take pencil and apply marks - this time on wall - in those places where will be fastened corners to the shelf, drill openings in wall (having cleaned the shelf aside), in those places which you have noted.
6. Put the shelf to wall again and now fasten corners to wall, using the made openings. Try to twist self-tapping screws smoothly that they as it is possible more strong entered surface and were not unsteady in the course of twisting. If this operation was successful, then safely put on your new shelf what did not find to this place in your room - it is ready to operation.
