Instruction
1. You make cutting for few weeks before you begin to replace ficus to Novaya Zemlya. If the plant is weakened and is painful, postpone cutting. Remember that new escapes develop from kidneys. The main of them – top and side, located in bosoms of leaves. If you begin to form plant krone in the spring, it will be magnificent. Doing cutting during the autumn and winter period, you receive ficus with one-sided krone.
2. Consider also that young plants respond to forming much better while old to correct form extremely difficult. It is connected with the fact that on the lignified trunk of kidney waken hardly. Cutting off escapes, do cut over kidney. At the same time on thick escapes the cut has to be slanted, and on thin – to straight lines.
3. To give to ficus the form of bush, you prishchipit the main escape at the height of 13 cm. If at plant large leaf, leave 3 – 4 leaves. From pazushny kidneys escapes will begin to develop. The side escapes which have reached in length of 10 cm, prishchipyvayta over kidney which is turned from krone outside. Wipe all cuts wet towel wipes, lacteal juice will not stop being emitted yet. Then powder cuts with pounded wood charcoal.
4. To create shtamb, take ficus which vertical stipitate is already pronounced. Constantly delete side escapes, leave only 4 – 5 top until the plant does not grow to the necessary height. For floor shtamb – 0.5 - 1 m, for desktop – 0.3 - 0.4 m of Prishchipyvayte top at this height of plant. Thereby you will stimulate growth of side escapes. Wipe all cuts rag and powder with pounded coal. Shtamb tie to peg. The peg will need to be removed when the plant becomes steadily and will enough be leveled. 5. For forming of level shtamb you need quite adult plant. Prishchipyvayte, when it reaches the necessary height. For forming of two-level shtamb separate krone into 3 parts. For forming of trekhurovny shtamb separate krone into 5 parts.
6. At consecutive forming of levels from below up delete top of trunk only when shtamb reaches necessary height. It is possible to achieve forming of multilevel ficus, landing in one capacity of plant of various height and forming spherical kroner. For masking the trunks turn in natural fabric.
7. The original form can be given to ficuses, by their texture. Put in one pot young ficuses, identical on the development, with trunks, the sclerotic half. Their height has to be about 15 cm. Plant together two plants if you want to twist trunks in spiral, three – to spin "braid". It is necessary to spin ficuses freely, deleting side escapes.
8. To create planar frame, six and more ficuses put on one line at some distance one from another. When plants reach the necessary height, enshrine flexible trunks in the necessary provision by means of twine or thick thread. That subsequently hems were not formed, periodically weaken fixers. That trunks grew together quicker, remove bark to cambium in places of contact of trunks. Densely press plants in these parts and pull together with polyethylene film when juice stops being emitted.
