Besides normal raspberry, treelike (standard) raspberry has been a few years ago removed. It has received the name crimson tree at once. How it is correct to grow up it on personal plot?
The crimson tree can grow up to 2 m high, unlike undersized bushes of ordinary raspberry. Despite small term from the moment of its removal, it was fallen in love to amateur gardeners at once. And the basic reason of it that the crimson tree practically does not expand and gives layers a little. Therefore it is not necessary to spend a lot of time for removal of new young growth. And on tastes of the berries it does not concede to ordinary raspberry at all. Also crimson tree will perfectly decorate with the decorative look any garden.
Landing of crimson tree
At acquisition of saplings it is necessary to consider the main nuances. The root system at the real crimson tree does not expand in the parties, and externally looks as at fruit bushes. And one more main feature: it has very thick branches, unlike other types of raspberry, and close located interstices (places of fastening of leaflets).
When choosing the place of landing consider that the crimson tree best of all grows on that place where to it there were bean plants. Also choose light and open space from South side of personal plot. The crimson tree does not love the underground waters located close to earth surface. It needs to be considered when choosing the place of landing too.
Landing time choose the most convenient for your area. Plant crimson tree right after snow descent in the spring, and it is better to do it in October in the fall. For landing prepare hole of 50*50 cm in size and bring humus, peat and mineral fertilizers. Before it roots of saplings lower for 30 minutes in the clay talker. Correct care for crimson tree

Fertilizers bring at the beginning of spring (urea or ammonium nitrate), during formation of buds (superphosphate) and in the middle of the fall before preparation for winter (potash salt). Still it is possible to feed up him organic fertilizers: chicken dung or infusion of mullein. The soil under crimson tree is constantly weeded and loosened.
During preparation of adult plant for winter the sprouts of crimson tree, as low as possible bend down to the earth, delete all foliage and cover with any material, for example agrily. Before it escapes powder with the soil on height up to 20 cm.
On crimson tree the same wreckers and diseases, as on normal raspberry are brought. It is undesirable to grow up strawberry nearby. From it weevils can be got. Also the crimson bug, midge and crimson fly can do harm to this plant. For fight against them use various medicines (carbophos, Atellik) and folk remedies (infusions of bitter wormwood or horse sorrel).
The crimson tree begins to fructify approximately in the middle end of July depending on the region and grade of plant. It is desirable to pick berries each two days, without allowing them to perespet. It is undesirable to bring together them after rain – they will long not be stored.
Are especially distinguished from grades of crimson tree: Tarusa, Fairy tale, Big guy, Athlete and others. Also there are remontant grades of this plant: Penguin, Eurasia and so on.
