1. If on the site poor clay soil, before landing of salpiglossis it has to be enriched with peat, humus, ashes and sand. The earth should not be sour, it is necessary to create neutral or subacidic soil.
2. Droughty or too damp sites are not suitable for salpiglossis, at the same time availability of bright sunlight is indispensable condition for cultivation of plant, in shadow its blossoming will not be intensive.
3. Seeds of salpiglossis sow to the open ground at the end of April or the beginning of May. In this case blossoming will begin in the second half of summer. It is possible to grow up seedling, having seeded seeds at the beginning of spring, and then to replace it in soil. Young plants do not transfer frosts therefore they should be landed only after approach of steady warm weather.
4. To grow up seedling, seeds sow at the end of March or at the beginning of April, for this purpose use wide ware with the friable and damp soil. They are slightly pressed into substrate, then sprinkled from spray and covered with film. From above put the sheet of paper to prevent hit of direct sunshine.
5. Crops should be aired and deleted regularly from film condensate. In 2-3 weeks the first shoots will appear, they should be accustomed gradually to fresh air, and then to finally remove film. Salpiglossis badly transfers change with the damaged roots therefore seedlings carefully dive in individual glasses.
6. When watering it is the best of all to use warm water, at the same time it is necessary to make sure that the soil has dried out after the last irrigation. To make blossoming of salpinglossis abundant, it is necessary to introduce each two weeks mineral fertilizers. Use of special structures for cultivated flowers contributes to rapid growth and the development of plants.
7. To grow up salpiglossis in room conditions, it is necessary to provide it the solar place which is reliably protected from drafts. If the plant is in the warm and light room, it will well grow and blossom. At cultivation of flower it is necessary to maintain temperature not below +16 °C in the winter.
8. The wide tray and polyethylene film is indoors necessary for crops of seeds. Well fertilized soil is evenly distributed on tray, it is slightly trampled down and humidified. Seeds scatter randomly, and from above add a little earth. Landing capacity is covered with film and put to the place where sunshine do not get.
9. When there are shoots, the film should be removed, and to transfer plants to the solar place. Seedlings it is necessary it is regularly abundant to water and spray as they evaporate a lot of water.
