1. Oak acorns can be collected in the fall or in the spring. Both seasons are good in this plan in own way. In the fall under any oak you will find so many acorns that from them it will be possible to grow up the whole grove. However not everyone they will be qualitative, the viability at them can appear even lower than 10%. The wintered acorns, especially those which after descent of snow arise sprouts will ascend with the probability of 80-90%, but it will be not so simple to find them. Most of them will die under snow or will be eaten by rodents.
2. But if you have found the arisen acorn, you were lucky. Gather in deep bucket of the forest soil mixed from the remains of last year's foliage, put acorn horizontally on the earth, slightly powder it, it is abundant water and stock up with patience. The oak always develops at first root system and only then releases external sprout. Expectation can drag on up to 1.5-2 months. Do not dig out the earth to look what there happens with acorn.
