The tarragon represents the spicy perennial plant having tart and slightly sharp taste. This grass is used for preparation of the known Tarhun drink for a long time, added as seasoning to various dishes and also applied to treatment of insomnia, tooth and headache, depression. It is possible to grow up tarragon on the site.

1. The tarragon is unpretentious in leaving, it very quickly begins to grow at once after snow descent. At the beginning of May the Tarhun sprouts already reach the maturity. The plant can be grown up on one place within ten-fifteen years, but it is most useful only in the first four years. Well the tarragon on various soils grows (without surplus of nitrogen fertilizers), it is desirable that the acidity was close to neutral (6-7 rn). Allocate the certain site cleared of wheat grass and other weeds for landing of Tarhun.
2. Preparation of the soil for beds consists in autumn deep redigging and also spring loosening and redigging by shovel on half of bayonet. If under the previous culture did not introduce fertilizer or the soil is insufficiently fertile, introduce organic fertilizers at laying of plantation under redigging at the rate of the 3rd kilogram on square meter. Mineral fertilizers are introduced under redigging in the following quantity: 15 grams of sulfate of ammonium, 30 grams of superphosphate, 10 grams of potash salt (on square meter).
3. The tarragon vegetative (layers, division of bush or stem shanks) or seed breeds in the ways. At seed reproduction it is necessary to prepare seedling. Sow seeds in April or May in special nursery on beds. The distance between ranks has to make 15-20 centimeters. As seeds very small, cover them only slightly with the soil.
4. In few weeks the seeds will sprout, thin out the appeared shoots on 10-15 centimeters. As required further you make waterings, loosening and weedings. In year of landing tarragon you should not feed up, in the next years you introduce mineral fertilizers (urea, superphosphate and potash salt).
