Most of people for installation of the conditioner address professionals. However if you have experience of electric installation and sanitary work, you will be able independently to make. Installation of conditioners of various producers has the features, but there are general principles of performance of such work.
Choose the place for installation
Before installing the conditioner, it is necessary to choose the place which is the most suitable for this purpose. It has to be protected from direct beams of the sun and sources of heat. Room conditioners are installed at the height about 2 meters over floor and at distance, at least, of 15 centimeters from ceiling and walls. Pay attention to that near the device there were no television antennas and cables, phones, intercoms and also house security systems. All these devices generate various electric noise which can result in fault of the conditioner. Pay also attention that the device can be rather heavy. Perhaps, it will be necessary to place the wooden or metal frame allowing to hold it on wall.
Assembly plate
Having chosen the most suitable place, establish on it assembly plate from the conditioner. Surely use level, level plate strictly on vertical and horizontal. Installation and fastening of plate is made by means of special thread-cutting screws which are delivered complete with the conditioner.
Opening in wall
Pick up the place in wall for drilling of opening in which the pipeline for drainage system, pipes with coolant and other pipes connecting external and internal blocks of system will be installed. The opening has to be not less than 7.5 cm in the diameter and be under bias down. Consider length of pipes, they have to reach the external block. Having finished drilling of opening, insert into it the flexible flange.
Check of electrics
Raise the block of the front panel of the conditioner and uncover with it. Make sure that feeder cables are connected to terminal screws. Study the scheme which is delivered with the device, and check correctness of these connections.
Installation of pipes
Place the pipeline in opening in wall, try to minimize its bend. Connect all copper tubes and feeder cable together with the help of insulating tape, the drainage tube at the same time has to be located from below to provide free drain of water. Attach all tubes to the internal block of the conditioner. Miss the connected tubes via the pipeline, make sure that the drainage pipe dewaters to the right place. Having finished installation of tubes, fix the internal block of the conditioner on the mounting panel.
External block
Install the external block in free space from dirt and dust. Make sure of that walls around this block were located, at least, at distance of 30 centimeters from it. Also trace that the cables creating electric hindrances were not near. If you install the block on the earth, put it on the high concrete block covered with rubber gasket, it neutralizes effect of vibration. Connect electric cable to the block, following the instruction and also pipes from the internal block.
End of installation
Having finished the main mounting, fix pipes to wall by means of special fixtures. Roll up joints of pipelines by means of insulating tape. Close up opening in wall by means of polyurethane foam. Before start of the conditioner pit air from coolant contour, following the instruction.
