The sitting room in the apartment performs double function: it is recreation area for all family members and at the same time — the room for reception of guests and companionship. Therefore it is necessary to issue sitting room taking into account harmonious combination of these functions in one territory.
Instruction
1. Choose one of two options of registration: division of the living room into two zones or their combination. Division can be carried out if room space is rather big. In this case you can use possibilities of internal designs or allocate zone, having changed in it floor height. On peculiar podium it is possible to lift dining table, bar, musical salon and to brightly light them. In other zone where it is possible to get, having gone down couple steps below, arrange in the muffled light convenient sofa, coffee table, bookshelves, the TV.
2. Ideally the living room is the intersection which uniform space connects other rooms in the house, but planning of the majority of apartments does not allow to implement it. Use open planning and various architectural designs in registration of the living room: ladders, niches, columns, portals, arches and decorative partitions which will become interior "highlight".
3. Pick up to the living room original, esthetic, convenient furniture which will unite all elements of interior and will organically fit into it. Here it is unimportant what furniture will be bought: heavy, monumental or easy, transformed, weightless hi-tech in force. The main thing that it was comfortable and created the special atmosphere disposing to rest.
4. Define color schemes for the living room according to the taste, and muffled, pastel tone also contrast color combinations can be used here. Choose one basic color and, being guided by coloristic tables, pick up harmonious combinations. The dark stained tree furniture stylish also shows to advantage against the background of white walls, light tone red are perfectly combined with blue, light tree - with dark achromatic surfaces.
