1. Number of the counter is usually specified on its face side. The location of number can be various and depends on energy resource metering device model.
2. If you kept the passport of the counter, then to learn its number to you will not make big work. Serial number of the metering device is usually specified in the passport on the first pages of this document. That in the future you had no problems with definition of number of the counter, make the copy, and several, first two and last pages of the passport of the metering device are better.
3. At installation of the counter, the staff of the power supplying organization are obliged to draw up the statement of reception of your metering device in operation. Such document is formed in duplicate, one of which has to be at you. Number of your counter is without fail specified in this act. If you have no copy of this document, then it is necessary to appeal to the power supplying company about that have provided you the copy of the act or have told number of your counter. In certain cases number of the metering device is specified in the contract between the consumer and the supplying company.
4. The staff of the sales companies quarterly does planned visit of houses for the purpose of fixing of indications and check of metering devices. Call the company which serves your housing site, learn when the staff of this organization works in your house, and ask them to specify to you number of your metering device.
5. If you already gave the counter in actual fact, then look at yourself for the testing certificate as the staff of metrological services is obliged to specify serial number of the metering device in this document. At absence at you such certificate, address to the organization which made checking of the counter, with request for that have provided you the copy of this document or have told number of your counter.
