Electric heaters, popular with owners of country sites, consume, unfortunately, somewhat a lot of energy. Operation in most cases costs very much to their owners of dachas. As an alternative such devices can use much cheaper gas heaters, meanwhile.
It is possible to make such equipment for the country house if desired also the hands. Manufacturing techniques of gas heaters exists a little. In principle, it will be rather simple to make such devices for giving independently. But the equipment of this type assembled by the hands, of course, has to meet completely certain safety requirements and to be convenient in use.
What has to be the gas heater
Qualitative and safe the heating device of this type can be considered only if:
- the elements which are responsible for gas supply in it are used factory production;
- in its design easy ways of activation/deactivation are implemented;
- the device has not too difficult design.
In many cases the gas heaters, in addition, are completed also with the flues which are responsible for removal of combustion products. Such additions only at assembly the device absolutely low power, small rooms applied to heating are not used.
Types of gas heaters
The equipment of this type can be installed in country houses:
- stationary;
The first type of country gas heaters is connected or to the centralized highways or standard big cylinders. Mobile devices of this type can be transferred if necessary from the room to the room or, for example, from the house to the shed, garage, the greenhouse. Such heaters are connected to cylinders, small on volume.
How to make the heater
Production of the device of this type — the procedure rather simple. If desired it is possible to make with own hands both the mobile gas heater, and stationary. But most often independently manufacture, of course, nevertheless figurative gas heaters.
In the subsequent such device can be used not only directly at the dacha, in garage or the shed, but also , for example, even in tent on fishing or on hunting. It is simple to make the gas heater with own hands including with use of various improvised materials. For example, for this purpose it is possible to adapt:
- collet cylinder;
- gas mobile flat stove;
- pipe and blowpipe.
In all these cases the heater finally will turn out rather reliable and, of course, inexpensive.
The mobile device from blowpipe
On this technology it is possible to manufacture the low-power, but pretty convenient portable heater in operation. In this case for assembly of the device the gas torch kerosene stove intended for cooking, for example, in marching conditions is used. It is also possible to manufacture the heater on such technology and of collet cylinder with the blocking valve.
There will not be enough power of the device assembled with use of torch or cylinder for heating of big giving, of course. But effectively it is quite possible to warm small garden lodge in the fall or in the spring with use of such equipment.
Materials on this technology will be necessary for production of the compact heater the following:
- actually torch;
- small sheet of tin;
- metal kitchen sieve;
From tools will be required:
- drill with drill of small diameter;
- klepochnik;
- the ground scissors on metal.
Make assembly of the gas heater on this technology as follows:
- take piece of tin and put to it sieve framework down;
- accurately circle sieve with marker;
- to circle on tin add rectangular ears on four parties (one of which has to be slightly longer than three others);
- cut out preparation by scissors on metal;
- fasten the cut circle to torch bolts;
- from above, having bent ears up, fix sieve.
During the work of cylinder the sieve will serve in the subsequent as heat diffuser. It is possible to improve similar design with use of grid as follows:
- the circle with ears identical to the first is cut out from tin;
- in circle with small space from edge openings are drilled;
- the strip of small width is cut out from grid.
Further the strip should be fixed to the first (over sieve) and to the second to circles for the ears bent at an angle 90 ° on rivets so that the cylinder has turned out.
The desktop heater from the gas stove
On this technology it is possible to make already a little more powerful household gas heaters for giving. As own most heating coil in this case the flat quadrangular gas figurative stove with grid intended for cooking of food is used.
The heater when using this technology is done by accession to this device from above of metal sheath with the combustion chamber and the fan. Such addition is simply made of tin the hands.
Length and width of the body heater have to be equal to the corresponding parameters of tile. Below to casing at the same time from two parties the holding levels hooks are attached. One of such levels is made mobile on springs and joins the lifting lever. Use of the body of such design allows to remove and put on the heater tile as required.
The fan for such equipment can be used, for example, from the window conditioner. Establish it behind the body heater. At the same time fan baffles usually cut off to the necessary sizes.
In the metal combustion chamber fixed in the body make openings on all area with not too big step. They are necessary for creation of draft.
Efficiency rather big will also work for the device manufactured on such technology it effectively. It is possible to use such device including for full heating of giving in winter season. If desired in the house it is possible to install also several heaters of this kind.
How to make the heater of pipe
Such devices in a different way are called heat gas guns. Heaters of this version usually have pretty big power and are in addition equipped with flues.
To make the gas gun with own hands, the following materials will be necessary:
- pipe with a diameter of 180 mm and 1 m long;
- one more pipe of diameters of 80 mm of the same length;
- pipe 30 cm long and with a diameter of 80 mm;
- blowpipe with pyezopodzhigy;
- the axial fan with the round flange.
The step-by-step assembly instruction of the floor heat gun from pipe looks as follows:
- in the biggest pipe on both parties drill two openings with a diameter of 10 and 80 mm;
- of 1 m do the combustion chamber with use of piece in 30 cm of the second pipe;
- weld on it carrier plates, make in it opening on one end in 10 mm and establish it in the first pipe;
- cut out stub for overlapping of gap between the combustion chamber and the body of the gun from metal plate;
- weld the combustion chamber in the body;
- in 80 mm weld branch pipe of exit of hot air on opening;
- weld stub;
- strictly install blowpipe in the camera, having passed hose through openings in 10 mm of both pipes;
- behind the gun mount fan heater, and ahead on the camera establish flue.
For convenience of installation of the gun in the subsequent it is possible to weld four legs on its body. Instead of pipe for production of the body of such design the summer residents often use the fulfilled cylinders, for example, from under gas or fire extinguishers.
Service regulations
Of course, at operation of the gas heating equipment including made by the hands, it is necessary to follow certain safety rules. Otherwise use such the device can turn back the fire or even explosion.
The owners of dachas using gas heaters should remember, for example, that:
- gas cylinders should be stored only in the ventilated room and strictly vertically;
- after each replacement of cylinder of the heater it is worth checking tightness of joints with use of soap solution;
- the unused cylinders full or empty, it is necessary to store out of the room.
It is possible to heat dachas with use of self-made gas heaters pretty effectively. But it should be taken into account such devices nevertheless only as temporary alternative to safer and productive modern industrial equipment. Over time such heaters will be better to be replaced with more reliable factory or to install in country house the gas or solid propellant boiler with connection of radiators.
