Interline interval - the thin sheet of species of wood of the set thickness which can be made by method of hulling, planing or sawing of log. The idea to receive thin plates from tree has appeared in Ancient Egypt as in this country there was only one river - Neil, and other territory was covered by the desert. Therefore wood was rarity there and was appreciated worth its weight in gold. And wooden household items and furniture were decorated with expensive stones. Today distinguish three types of interline interval — sawn, planed and hulled.

1. Take seasoned wood cap of fir-tree, the Siberian cedar and the Caucasian fir. Previously kill her and steam. Then dry up in the drying chamber. Saw cap on dividing installation, at the same time its thickness has to be from 1 to 10 mm. Production of sawn veneer is connected with high withdrawal of wood on sawdust, nearly 60 percent. It is more expensive more qualitatively than veneering wood. The sawn veneer is applied to production of sound boards of musical instruments and highly artistic furniture, also it is applied to facing of doors, wall panels, elements of ladders, ply-curve elements of furniture, face side of parquet and decorative finishing of rooms.
2. Take wainscot, bar, valuable deciduous or coniferous breeds of tree and also wood cap. Fix it on the special planing machine not movably. Cut it specialized knives, in this case the size of the received interline interval is equated to bar width. It is applied to plywood production. From thin and curve trees, the smaller sizes of pieces turn out. So, width of interline interval of the Karelian birch of only 30-50 mm. Traditional width of the made veneering wood — 60-120 mm, at the same time gradation is 10 mm, at thickness from 0.4 to 1.2 mm, gradation - 0.3 mm.
3. Take rather widespread species of tree: oak, birch, alder, larch, beech, ash-tree, ilma, linden, cedar. Cut it on churak. Fix it in woodworking machine between spindles, and make hulling by means of cutter. The rotary cut veneer is cut off round by spiral method from cylindrical log-churaka which has been given rotation, width is one many more than it, than at veneering wood.
