1. It is possible to make pond in two ways. But for both cases it is necessary to dig ditch by the size of future pond. In the first case it is possible to get ready figured pallets. They are plastic and rubber. Also many use old bathtubs. We dig the space for reservoir a little more deeply that on bottom to fill sand for installation of pallet. We install pallet or bathtub by means of level, and we fill emptiness with wet sand, constantly condensing it. Depth of such reservoirs normal is not less than 40 cm. The second way less costly. For the second option of reservoir we dig ditch, being guided by the imagination. We cover all hole with special dense film, on bottom of ditch we fill wet sand. It will hold film from emerging. If your pond multistage, then we stack stones that the film "has well laid down" on walls of future pond on steps. Around ditch we dig superficial ditch where we dig in edges of film. So the film will not slip back in pond.
2. We plant plants in pond. In pond it is possible to plant water-lily, lotus and other lake plants. They can be put directly in sand which is filled at the bottom, and it is better to use special mesh containers with the earth. Through them freely there passes air, mineral substances are not washed away, and roots perfectly expand. It is better to plant such plants as cane and reed-mace in the closed containers because of their strongly developed root system. Containers with plants keep within on bottom or on the steps of reservoir among stones.
3. The coastline can be imposed with flat stones, small pebble or bank sand. Ashore it is possible to plant any bushes and plants. Trees, even undersized, are not recommended for landing ashore since their roots can sprout in pond and damage film.
