1. Begin scheduling of the apartment with detailed measurement of height, width and length of all rooms by means of tape measure. Apply all available ledges, niches and the wrong corners on the plan.
2. At the next stage make the plan of the apartment on scaled paper, having set scale. Scale 1:50 or 1:100 is most often used. So, for example, when choosing scale 1:100, each meter of overall dimensions of the room will be equal to 1 cm on the plan.
3. Note height of walls, door and window openings on the plan. That it was easier for you to be guided, designate external walls by the double line 0.5 cm thick, and partitions indoors – the same lines, but is twice thinner.
4. Designate windows on the plan as the rectangles limited from two parties with two lines (glasses) inside. Designate doors by the slanting lines directed aside in which they will open.
5. Having finished with planning of the room, apply furniture on the turned-out plan. To designate it on paper in the form of geometrical figures, provide that you see table, cabinet or sofa from above.
6. Use one of options of search of the best arrangement of furniture on the plan. The simplest way is to draw furniture on dense paper or cardboard, and then to cut and place figures on the plan.
7. Other option – tracing-paper. Attach this transparent paper to the plan, and draw on it furniture. Make several sketches of desirable interior, and then choose the best.
8. Besides, you can make the plan of the apartment in three-dimensional view with the help of the special program on the computer. It can be House Beautiful, FloorPlan 3D or any similar application.
9. Enter the initial sizes into the program, and you will see the apartment on the screen in three-dimensional look. After that you will be able to place furniture and at once to look at result.
