The submersible pumps pumping water from wells sometimes deliver array of problems from which their breakage is not the biggest. Their jamming in pipe as not taken pump creates hindrance for further operation of the well turns into much bigger trouble.

Instruction
1. The reasons for which the deep pump gets stuck in the well, can be a little: suction in soil, hit between casing pipe and the pump of hose or stone, distortion in pipe. The first reason gives out itself more muffled, than earlier, sound. If the sound of the working pump has not changed, it is necessary to assume jamming in pipe. If the pump is at small depth (up to 6-8 m), and its sound has not changed before delaying it big effort up, try to reach it long thin pipe or rail and to push down. It can remove jamming if it takes place.
2. If the sound of the pump became muffled, take wooden rail, reel up on it rope on which the pump is suspended, and, rotating rail, pull rope and turn on the pump. Its vibration with simultaneous tension of rope can help it to be released from soil. In case of failure you do not hurry to stop trying. Fix rail that it supported rope tension, and leave so for some time. Periodically switch on and off the pump. If after some time these measures nevertheless have not helped, start the following method of extraction.
3. Fix on top of casing pipe the manual winch so that it was possible to reel up rope on its drum. It can be done about the help of welding or bolts. Having reeled up rope on the winch, try with effort to pull the pump up. If it has not moved, try to reel up on the winch together with rope current-carrying cable and flexible hose. It is not necessary to make right at the beginning maximum effort, try to strengthen and weaken tension alternately. If all attempts are unsuccessful, try to delay maximum effort.
4. If all these measures have not helped and, maybe, even the rope, cable and hose, opportunity to take the pump have broken it is not lost yet. Make special nozzle of bar with a diameter of 12-15 mm. The bar needs to be twisted in the form of the corkscrew having inside diameter equal or it is slightly less than diameter of pump. At the same time its outside diameter has to be less than diameter of casing pipe. The lower end of bar should be sharpened, – to weld piece of pipe with the drilled opening on nozzle top (for connection with bar). Manually it will be difficult to make this nozzle, it is work for the smith.
5. Attach nozzle to bar (to pipe?"") also lower it with simultaneous rotation down. Having reached the pump (does not matter where it is – in soil or has got stuck in pipe), the nozzle passes it in itself and gives the chance to take on surface. It also reels up on itself the torn-off rope, cable and hose and helps to take also them.
