Beans are useful and nutritious. No vegetable culture to be compared on nutrition value to beans: their protein is easily acquired by human body, beans can quite replace meat products in diet of vegetarians. And it is not difficult to grow up them!
It is required to you
- - manure;
- - potassium-phosphorus mix and other fertilizers on the basis of potassium;
- - plants - "neighbors"";
- - support for beans;
- - pots for seedling.
Instruction
1. Put beans on the heavy clay soils which are diligently fertilized by manure. Beans well grow after beet, turnip and cabbage. Useful "neighbors" - potatoes and cucumbers. Bring complex potassium-phosphorus mineral mix on beds in the fall and dig over the earth.
2. Warm up seeds on the battery (within three hours) or in hot water (five minutes with the subsequent fast immersion in cold water). Plant seeds in the second half of May because young beans do not maintain even short-term frosts (however "with age" beans become cold-resistant). The distance between plants has to be not less than 10 cm, between the next ranks – about 30 cm.
3. Regularly you loosen beds and delete from them weeds. At emergence in plants of the first present sheet introduce fertilizers for bean, it is desirable on the basis of potassium. The second time bring fertilizing during formation of buds.
4. Moderately water beans before blossoming, but during emergence of buds increase "portions" of water.
5. Establish support for plants – they will become quite high. Hill beans – it promotes strengthening of root system and increase in resistance of plants to wind.
6. Collect beans in the period of dairy ripeness of fruits when grains by the size do not exceed 1 cm. Carefully tear off pods from below not to damage plant. It is recommended to reap crop of beans in stages – with break in 8-10 days. The best time for collecting beans - early morning. Provide yourself with seeds the next year, having left part of beans before full maturing. Later scatter them thin layer in well aired place and carefully dry.
