Instruction
1. Begin to establish chimney after the furnace is already constructed. You remember: the chimney has to be, at least, at distance of 350 mm from fast-flammable designs or in 250 mm from the objects protected from ignition.
2. The ideal decision at conclusion of pipe is to leave gap (but there is in such approach small shortcoming – air will go to attic-floor room, and it is not always desirable). So, from below the gap is closed often decorative nonflammable covering, and from above – small haydite.
3. You remember: than the chimney is longer, that high thrust, but at the same time is less than the efficiency of furnace. That is why when calculating length of chimney it is necessary to find "golden mean", that is, to determine the pipe length with which and the draft will be good, and furnace efficiency high.
4. Removing pipe through roof, follow fire safety regulations. First of all, the chimney distance to rafters has to be not less than 250 mm (under condition if the roof is not warmed). The diameter of bore in roof has to correspond to pipe size, however at the same time surely consider feature of roofing material. For example, if as roofing material roofing felt or roofing material (combustible material) is used, make fire-prevention gap. If the applied non-combustible roofing material, then it is possible to be limited to small gap.
5. The following method will help to define chimney location: around pipe wind the sheet of dense cardboard (reel up not hardly) then shift cardboard with contour of pipe up and transfer this contour to roofing material.
6. Then, using special purpose tool, cut opening under chimney in roofing material.
7. After remove chimney outside, start arrangement of its release: protect pipe from rain moisture which flows down on cattle roof, and the moisture which is flowing down on the pipe.
