Traditional door locks by the principle of fastening are divided into hinged, laid on and cut-in. Special difficulties with removal hinged and scarf should not be – their fixture is just turned off from the door and from door jamb. In removal from door of box lock which is inserted and taken out from door face certain difficulties meet.

Instruction
1. Remove all fixture from lock housing at door face. The lock exempted from fixture needs to be hooked flat blade screwdriver or chisel and to take out. If he has easily acted, then in the door there is only opening under the lock and two turnkey openings, it is possible with decorative pads. If the lock is not pulled out, it means that its device slightly another including so-called "larva" - the replaced part of the lock into which the key is inserted. The larva enters lock housing at right angle and is visible both from internal, and from outer side of door as the acting part. In need of it it is possible to replace with new set of keys.
2. Unscrew the long screw which the larva fastens to lock housing from door face. Get larva, having just squeezed out it from external or from the inside of door. The larva will be taken out simply if the lock is serviceable, and the key in larva freely moves. If the larva easily is not taken out, it means that, squeezing out larva, it is necessary, slowly turning key, to find that provision of key at which it will be taken out. If after that the lock from door face nevertheless is not taken out, then it can be disturbed by the handle, that is the lock is equipped with the handle with latch for closing of door (at turn of the handle by 90 degrees the latch leaves face in the lock). The handle in lock housing is put on steel tetrahedral rod which is located in lock housing at right angle. It prevents removal of the lock from door face.
3. Remove the handle together with rod. For this purpose it is necessary to find by means of what the handle on steel rod is fixed (the screw - to unscrew, steel ringlet from wire – to hook and remove). Having removed the handle from rod on the one side of door, try to pull out rod from lock housing for other handle. If after withdrawal of rod the lock all the same does not get, it is necessary to look whether decorative pads on the lock through to lock housing fasten.
4. Remove decorative pads, take out the lock.
