Instruction
1. Close chair seat with the darned hole universal cover for chair which consists of two parts - cover on back and cover on seat. These parts can be connected with each other, but can exist and separately. Begin tailoring of cover with chair back.
2. Measure width and height of the found part, to width add 15 cm, and take length two times and add 5 cm. Cut out this part from muslin and put on back, chop off tailor's pins so that the cover easily was removed from chair. Pencil draw the line from pins and remove cover.
3. Break away pins and cut final pattern of cover of chair back with allowances for seams. Measure length and width of seat, add 15 cm to these measures and cut out part from muslin. Fix part to chair seat by pins and accurately outline border pencil, leaving cuts for back. If you want to make of rigid chair chair softer, then attach the furniture stapler lining to seat.
4. Impose preparations of parts from muslin on fabric for cover and outline chalk or pencil, cut parts. These parts can be made of different fabrics or from combination of several materials at your choice. Now solve whether will be back and seat are connected among themselves. If parts are sewed separately, then stitch all seams of back, having tucked product bottom. If parts are sewed together, then stitch side seams on back.
5. Seat part if you do it without frill, twist and sew eyelets for buttons to fix cover elastic bands. To sew cover with beautiful frill, measure seat seam length, having excluded back length distance. To this result add 30 cm on assemblies on corners and 2 cm on seams if you assume to make magnificent frills, then add still centimeters 50. Separately find frill on the lower part of back, its width depends on quantity of expected folds too. Evenly put folds, accurately primetyvy frill to seat.
6. To each corner of seat together with frill you pristrochit tapes for attachment of cover under seat. Pristrochite all parts of back and seat to each other so that the integral cover has turned out. In side seams sew strips of beautiful tapestry material to tie behind smart bow.
7. By the same principle sew covers on chairs or sofa - it is so possible to refresh interior easily, quickly and cheap. Covers it is possible to sew several sets to change them depending on mood or in process of pollution. By means of covers you will close holes and scrapes on furniture.
