1. It is possible to meet geraniums with various bright inflorescences: simple, terry, any flowers and shades, with the various structure of flower – star-shaped, tyulpanovidny, in the form of rose, reminding cactus flower. Geraniums by the size differ: dwarfish, tiny, ampelous.
2. One more big group – fragrant geraniums which are grown up for the sake of aroma. Variety of aromas strikes too: geraniums can smell of rose, apple, mint, lemon, orange, nutmeg.
3. At all variety of grades and qualities all this the same modest and quite unpretentious flowers what were 100-200 years ago. 4-5 years can grow in house conditions of geranium, and at good leaving and good to them the relation will keep decorative effect and for longer term.
4. It is possible to grow up geranium from seeds and also cherenkovaniye. Indoor temperature has to be moderate, it is desirable to lower it up to 10-15 C in the winter. 5. Before frosts the geranium needs to be dug out of soil and to replace to the fresh earth. It is desirable to wash out them in flowing water, then to place for 10-15 minutes in weak solution of potassium permanganate, to wash out once again and it is possible to replace. 6. The soil for change has to be feeder, friable. It is better if it is mix of the cespitose, sheet earth, humus, peat and sand in equal parts. The pot should not be big, roots have to braid earth lump completely. The drainage is obligatory – the layer of coarse gravel is filled on bottom, then on the center of pot the plant is established and free intervals are covered with earth, avoiding emptiness. The soil needs to be condensed, after filling of pot it is abundant to water – that water has begun to be emitted through drainage holes.
7. After change it is necessary to cut off also plant on 2/3 from length of trunks. It is necessary that the root system was better restored, besides the plant after cutting will blossom and look it better much more effective. The cut-off branches can be used as shanks, for reproduction of geranium.
8. If the plant was not planted on the street, it is not obligatory to replace it as the geranium does not love when she is disturbed. If roots have begun to lean out of drainage holes, and the plant has lost attractive look, it is possible to make transfer in pot of a little bigger size (on 5-6 cm), without touching earth lump. It is also possible to replace annually top soil in pot, without replacing plant.
