Kalanchoes carry to family of houseleek family. Different types of this plant differ in podgy (succulent) leaves and coloring of the flowers (white, pink, red) collected in umbrella inflorescences. Kalanchoe it is unpretentious in room culture. Once a year this plant needs to be replaced. Of course, change for plant is always stress therefore it is necessary to carry out it competently.

Instruction
1. Replace kalanchoe in the spring. The plant itself will show you that it is time to make it. Backs of flower will appear through drainage hole in pot, the earth will be condensed and will grow poor.
2. Prepare pot of slightly large diameter for change, it is desirable ceramic and unglazed. If you have got new pot, then take its couple of hours in water. It will allow to remove the gases which have got there when roasting from clay time. If the pot was used, then it is necessary to wash it with hot water with soap, and then to wet for 2-3 hours in pink solution of potassium permanganate.
3. Prepare fresh soil mix: cespitose earth, sheet earth and sand, in the ratio 4:2:1. In shops you can buy already ready soil for succulents. Also the crock splinter for laying on bottom of pot and a little haydite is required.
4. Kalanchoe before change it is abundant water. Carefully take flower from old pot. Slightly shake the old earth. Cut all broken or excessively twisted backs. If plant too big, then it is not necessary to shake off the earth. It is possible just to pass flower with old lump of the earth in new pot.
5. The good drainage therefore on bottom of pot it is necessary to put several crocks, then small stones of haydite and from above sand is very important for kalanchoe. Thickness of layer of drainage has to be not less than a quarter of height of pot because the kalanchoe does not transfer stagnation of water. On the prepared drainage layer fill up the earth.
6. Carefully place plant in pot and dosypta the soil until it closes roots. Level of the soil has to be couple centimeters lower than edge of pot. Water flower and add the earth if necessary.
