Some gardeners or owners of country houses often try to plant at themselves on the site pine tree or fir-tree, however or do not know how to make it, or do it incorrectly. Therefore they need the detailed recommendations about change of these trees and feature of this process.
To replace all coniferous plants, including fir-tree and pine, it is desirable during spring season, since the middle of April until the beginning of May. It is connected with the fact that their survival is lower, than at flowering plants (linden, oak, rowan), and roots develop much more slowly and demand for development of the warm period. The pine and fir-tree can be replaced in preautumn time, however at the same time it is necessary to be sure that it is saplings from container which roots have no strong damages.
The preautumn period in which it is possible to carry out change of coniferous plants time is considered from August 20 to September 20.
In the pole intended for change of pine or fir-tree it is necessary to fill a little soil from the wood where these breeds of trees grow. It contains fungus which forms the vital symbiosis with roots of coniferous and helps them to develop, to raise and become stronger. In the normal soil the shoots will sprout, but will quickly die without this fungus. Except the forest soil, it is also possible to add small amount of mineral fertilizers for coniferous plants to pole. At the same time strongly it is undesirable to fertilize the soil.
If saplings of pine or fir-tree are moved to the light site from the dark, they need to be shaded temporarily that they have not burned in the spring sun. For this purpose perfectly the cap which can be sewed from big bags in which keep flour or sugar will approach. Also for replacing of pine saplings it is necessary to choose copies from 30 to 40 centimeters high in the fall though larger saplings (about a meter) will take root too.

To keep the main core root of pine, without having torn off it at excavation, it is the best of all to choose small saplings for change. For delay of growth of pine and regulation of its height this root can be tied before landing loose knot, and to create the top of tree in the form of round sphere.
