1. Recommend to buy boards no later than the end of May or the first decade of June as drying of material and acquisition of the necessary natural humidity by it will require not less than two months.
2. The humidity of material of covering should not exceed 10-15%, otherwise in the course of drying density of connection of boards among themselves will change, it can lead to formation of slots that will negatively affect exterior of the house.
3. The covering of walls is begun from below, at the same time each board has to be located thorn bottom, and groove up. Having attached the first starting board, it is necessary to check its horizontal position by means of construction level. If there are deviations from horizontal line, the board is leveled, only after that capitally attach it to house wall.
4. Carrying out fastening of the second board, insert groove into thorn, from above accurately strike with mall - wooden hammer then the thorn densely enters groove. The board is attached two nails, having them with space 1 cm from each edge. At the same time nails have to be at distance no more than 50 cm from each other.
5. As a rule, the horizontal covering is carried out with an overlap, at the same time the bottom edge of one board is located under the upper edge another. Usually planed or rough eaves boards 12-15 cm wide and from 2 to 2.5 cm thick are for this purpose used.
6. For horizontal covering it is the best of all to choose rabbeted boards, they will provide protection against wind and will help to keep warmly indoors. The vertical covering is done of boards about 15 cm wide and not less than 2 cm thick. The formed slots close rails, beating them two nails.
7. When the covering of the house is complete, on corners it is necessary to attach boards in vertical position. One of them establish with an overlap another, forming corner, in the same way mount platbands on windows. The covering of pediment can be carried out both horizontal, and vertical boards, applying the same principle of connection, as well as when mounting facade.
8. After end all of works on covering of the house needs to be painted as soon as possible surface. In order that paint has laid down exactly, boards process by means of the grinder. In it the abrasive paper with gradation of grain 25, 40, 80 and 120 has to be used.
9. If you are going to paint surface oil paint, it is necessary to put previously two layers of drying oil, to wait until it dries then it is possible to start coloring of the house. The surface of covering is painted with wide brush, the roller or apply airbrush.
