1. Define the reason of operation of the alarm system. It is impossible just to wave away from importunate howling, not having checked in what business as absolutely false call – quite unusual occurrence. Perhaps, in some room the smoke is observed or there was really ignition. At elimination of the reason of inclusion the alarm system will become silent by itself. Air rooms, check all possible points of emergence of the fire, including electrical wiring.
2. If the alarm system nevertheless has worked for no reason at all, shutdown depends on its type. The easiest way is to take out from the sensor in the apartment battery. Without battery the alarm system will turn just into peculiar ornament on ceiling. But you remember that in this case you will be left without protection if there is the real fire.
3. If in the building there is centralized control board, disconnect siren from it. Sometimes for this purpose it is required to type the code which is known only to people who are responsible for fire safety of the organization therefore they address them.
4. If sensors have been hammered with dust because of carrying out, for example, construction jobs, it is possible to disconnect them, having accurately sorted and having wiped with Q-tip with alcohol. After elimination of the reason of malfunctions the siren will break off.
5. If you for some reason need to switch-off temporarily the fire warning only in one room, for example, in the hostel or in server, close the sensor adhesive tape or wind with film, having closed after that elastic band. In this case it will not work neither on smoke, nor on rise of temperature.
6. The most radical method is to have a bite the wires going to the sensor. The alarm system will break off, but will become useless for further use, will not be repaired yet. So, it is possible to switch-off the alarm system, but it is better to deal with the reason of its operation nevertheless. Safety of all building depends on it, and it is possible, and your life.
