1. Use smooth surfaces for visual expansion of space. If the exclusivity is on the first place, but not expansion – installation of stained-glass windows will perfectly cope with this task. For providing good sound insulation choose panels from solid wood, also they are capable to change the room ideally.
2. Establish sliding partitions. This option with success continues subject of zoning of kitchen - the living room. Place the fitted cupboard in niche. The decor of frontal panels can also be the most various. Choose, according to the requirements to the organization of useful space, "cabinet stuffing" – regiments, boxes.

6. Make zoning visual or, in other words, conditional. Ennoble zone of kitchen by means of small podium, and two spaces automatically will become independent from each other. And if you allocate podium border with small bulbs or light tape, then it will find not only esthetic sense, but also will become more visible, so safer. Of course, such option is inappropriate in apartments with small children, but, in this case, the two-level ceiling can act as conditional border.
7. Pay special attention to lighting. For work area make it the most functional, comfortable for implementation of kitchen works. And in zone of the living room suspend decorative lighting set with soft smooth light. It is better when the lighting system has several levels: from bright to almost imperceptible (so you will be able easily to regulate light depending on in what you are going to be engaged).
8. It is possible to unite kitchen and the living room by means of easy panels. For a start choose way what they will develop: to gather "accordion", or one panel will be behind another as if puff pie. The type of fixture and guides depends on it. Such design looks easy and easily due to sliding on special rails. Pick up necessary number of panels for width of aperture. Pay attention to materials of which panels are manufactured, they can serve as additional decoration of interior.
