Modern alpine skiing suits sew from special high-tech membrane fabrics which on the properties are unique. Such fabric misses outside all internal evaporations of body, but interferes with penetration in water which is formed from the thawed snow. Besides, fabrics become impregnated with special water-repellent structures therefore producers do not recommend to erase their normal powder.

1. It is necessary to wash suit at least, than time during season. Even if for practicality reasons you have chosen suit from fabric of dark color, it will not save you from need to wash it. If dirt is not visible outside, then from within it will be not really clean, constant extreme loads and conditions of driving promote the strengthened sweating and emergence of specific smell.
2. In sports shops, special means for washing of alpine skiing suits are on sale, you can pick up any for the suit taking into account filler and outer surface. In the same shops there are special means for washing of products from down, them it is possible to erase all types of hi-tech fabrics. Usually for one washing one bag of such powder is enough.
3. It is better to wash suits with inserts from membrane fabric manually in warm water which temperature does not exceed 30 degrees. Having slightly wrung out, spread out it on plain surface, having spread under it some fabric which is well absorbing moisture better. When the product dries, process it the spray containing water-repellent protector.
4. Wash down jackets in the washing machine, choosing the mode of the sparing washing. Temperature can be established 40 degrees. Use special means, but if the top fabric not membrane, then it is possible to apply liquid soap. It is necessary to wring out suit in the centrifuge, to dry on shoulders. It is possible to use the thermal fan, but also on air it will dry quickly enough. Suits with down filler need to be washed right after the end of ski season.
5. It is the simplest to erase fleece products – it is possible manually or in the machine at temperature of 35-40 degrees. But also for them use special powders or liquid soap, after washing it is desirable to process such suit or fleece parts the structures restoring water-repellent properties of fabric. It is impossible to dry them in the centrifuge therefore having wrung out, hang out them on ropes.
