At finishing work besides other construction materials the clean washed-out sand can be required. To buy it can be difficult therefore the question arises: ""How to wash out sand most""? The choice of way depends on its quantity.

- tanks of various sizes;
- frame with the tense metal gauze;
- burlap;
- blade;
- bricks;
- buckets;
- water;
- water hose;
Instruction
1. Washing of sand demands pure considerable expenses and also the place for its draining. Therefore define and prepare the place where you will make washing. Previously sift sand via the metal gauze to eliminate large fragments and garbage. Bring water by means of water hose.
2. This way is applied at rather small amounts of initial material. Choose not really big, but rather wide vessel, for example basin. Fill sand there and fill in it with water. Well stir mix blade. Drain muddy water. Repeat two, three times. Then, having picked up basin, bring it under weak stream of flowing water. Making circular motions, slightly incline basin so that the contaminated water was gradually drained. For receiving larger fraction of sand quicker and more vigorously make movements and stronger incline the capacity in order that together with dirt fine sand left. Wash out until water becomes clear. Then accurately drain water.
3. For obtaining bigger amount of sand use frame with the metal gauze or grid. The area of frame has to be about 1 sq.m, and the size of cell from 5 to 10 mm. The frame has to have side 5 - 10 cm high. Establish frame horizontally, having enclosed 3 – 4 bricks under corners. From above cover frame with burlap. Fill even layer 4 - 8 cm thick. Direct water to frame and adjust pressure so that sand was not sprayed. Periodically changing the direction, wash out sand until water under frame is clear. Close the crane and leave the washed-out material in frame that water has flown down. At this way more coarse sand will be in top layer.
4. The way allowing to wash out sand in large volumes consists in the following. Establish metal bathtub under small inclination. The area of bathtub about 3 sq.m, height of sides is 30 – 35 cm. Fill in the capacity of 10 - 12 buckets of sand, having a little leveled it. Fix hose in upper part of bathtub and fill it with water. Adjust pressure so that water was slowly drained from bottom edge. From below up smoothly mix, clear water will not begin to be drained yet. Cut off water supply. Choose the washed-out sand on clean plain surface and let's flow down to water.
