This material in creation of models of tanks, machines, planes, ships is irreplaceable, with its help it is possible to repair gasoline tank, cowl, wing of the real car and many other things.

- - fiber glass fabric or glass fiber mat;
- - epoxy or polyester resin;
- - hardener;
- - brushes;
- - scissors;
- - gloves.
Instruction
1. Choose type of fiber glass fabric depending on the purposes of its application. It is better to make small parts of fine fabric of low density (to 250 g/m2). But thick dense (more than 300 g/m2) allows to gain quickly and easily thickness for massive parts. It is convenient to use also so-called glass fiber mat representing already cut fibers.
2. Correctly select pitch for work. Polyester resin impregnates material better, dries quicker. Epoxy it is easier to find, it is more available at the price, but dries several times longer. It is convenient if there is color indication of pitch, in the course of drying it changes color.
3. Do not forget about hardener, for each pitch it is necessary to select it specially. It is the best of all to take advice of the seller when choosing, but it is possible and to experiment: to mix batch and in hour to estimate result: if mix even has not begun to grab, change proportions or structure. The recommended mixing proportions: 2-3% (it is not less than 1% also of no more than 5%) hardener.
4. On part which copy should be received impose the cut piece of fiber glass fabric, by means of brush impregnate it with mixture of resin and hardener. Then one more layer of fabric, again impregnation. For once it is possible to lay up to 3 layers, to leave to dry for day. When pitch dries, to add 2-3 more layers and thus before accumulation of the necessary thickness. It is necessary to dissolve pitch with hardener every time anew, conveniently for this purpose to use disposable plastic cups.
5. Pay attention: at some point pitch becomes jellylike, at the same time it cannot already be applied on surface, but still it is possible to spoil mechanical influence. It is not recommended to dry part in the sun, it can crack.
6. Not to spoil original part with which the copy is made before work apply wax structure, either food wrap, or painting adhesive tape on it.
7. If it is required to connect two parts among themselves, at first smooth out smooth surface abrasive paper that it became rough. Then apply mix of epoxy or polyester resin with hardener and strong press.
