From insects of wreckers in the old manner it is possible to apply salt solution. Food salt, full tablespoon, dissolve in 2-3 liters of warm water. Processing is carried out by 15-20 minutes. But there is incompleteness of success from such processing. After landing of garlic in beds within the first weeks all salt is washed away with autumn precipitation.
In that case solution of insecticide of broad spectrum of activity, for example, of Carbophos will become more useful. Despite ""chemistry"", it has good reputation at gardeners and not bad copes with pincers, tripsa which annoy garlic plants. Solution is prepared proceeding from the instruction, by 30 g on 5 liters of water. Processing time - 20-30 minutes.
Process garlic teeth in day of landing, consistently applying processing from diseases, then another - from wreckers and, without washing out, land in beds. At full confidence in excellent quality of planting stock the teeth can be not processed. It is better to pay bigger attention to protection of the soil against infection congestion in it.
