The timbering represents form which concrete solution keeps within. It is irreplaceable during creation of the concrete and reinforced concrete constructions used for construction of buildings of various configuration. It is simple to make timbering with own hands, at the same time it what will not differ from made by professionals in.
Form construction has to be strong that it could sustain pressure created at underpouring. Otherwise the concrete which has got out of the shape because of fragile timbering can become cause of destruction of all construction. At the same time it is necessary to define correctly type of timbering, considering for this purpose dimensions and types of the concreted designs.
Types of timbering
There are two types of timbering. It can be: - removable;
- fixed. The fixed timbering is not removed after concrete hardens. For its production thermal insulation materials as its task consists not only in giving of the correct form, but also in heat preservation are most often used. The removable timbering is dismantled right after concrete filling stiffens and will develop necessary strength. Wooden and metal materials, as a rule, are applied to its creation. The removable timbering can be reused for filling of new concrete structures.
The hands the easiest to construct removable timbering of wood as it is the simplest and cheap option of production of form for underpouring.
Technology of creation of removable timbering the hands
To make removable timbering, boards of 0.2х50 cm and beam will be necessary. In the absence of boards of the necessary size it is possible to use narrower which will need to be connected to the help of wooden bars. They will serve at the same time as stiffening fins.
Do not use very thick boards as it will weight design, so, more supporting beams will be required.
At the first stage the board is made. Its height is defined depending on the sizes of concrete structure for which the timbering becomes. For mounting of board saw off cloth of the required length then connect it from outer end beams and fasten self-tapping screws. Beams have to be established perpendicular to cloth. Repeat this operation until receive the necessary quantity of boards.
The timbering is established from two parties therefore also boards are made on both parties at once.
The ready board communicates the surrounding framework for what beams by means of self-tapping screws are attached parallel to cloth. In total it will be necessary to make two belts: lower will not allow to spread to filling basis, and top will form the basis for the props interfering timbering divergence. Props, in quantity two-three pieces on one board, rest against the top belt and are surely put at an angle. During creation of timbering you watch that in boards big gaps through which the concrete milk because of what the concrete structure will turn out fragile can flow out were not formed. The exception is made by slots in 3 mm as they will be closed after boards are humidified. Slots from 5 to 10 mm will need to be closed up tow.
