Basic reasons on which carrots do not ascend:
- Old seeds. Carrot seeds keep viability 2... 3 years. Even seeds of 1 class have viability about 70%, the second class - only 45%. Buying bags of seeds of carrots, pay attention not only to effective life of this grade, but also to the aroma proceeding from package of carrot seeds. Fresh seeds publish aroma if they raw (granulated, on tape) also are not packed into additional package.

- Watering and soil moisture. It is necessary to sow seeds to the damp soil. Considering that carrots have ""nerve"" to ascend about two weeks on average, and crops are carried out at 1...2 cm in depth as seeds small, without moisture in soil layer the shoots will not be.
What is necessary that seeds of carrots have ascended?
It is better to carry out crops not to narrow grooves by row, and to wide tapes (width of 10...15 cm). Seeds can be spread out more economically at once, but not to pour heap to narrow groove.
