Average size in statistics is called the generalizing indicator which gives characteristic of level of changes of uniform units of population. Anyway between the characterized signs surely there has to be an interrelation.
Instruction
1. Define in what average size you will characterize units of population. It can be average arithmetic, average geometrical, average geometrical and average cubic. The choice depends on basic data for calculation and interrelation between them. It is the simplest to calculate an indicator in average arithmetic size. For calculation the formula is used: Har = Oz/OS, where Oz - the general the volume of value of sign, OS - the total amount of set. Let's say you need to calculate average percent of arrears in a year on branches of the enterprise.
2. Choose quantitative indices of change of sign for the analyzed period. For this example put the arrears sum on the end of the year on each branch (Oz). Determine the total amount of set, that is find the sum of the general debt on all branches on the end of the year (OS). Calculate average percent of arrears on average arithmetic, having substituted values of numerator and a denominator in a formula and having increased the received number by 100%. The received number will be average percent of arrears on all branches of this enterprise.
3. Calculation of average percent of marriage on production belongs to some average sizes in statistics. This indicator is calculated on a formula: Bs = Bp/Op*100 of %, where Bp-stoimost of the rejected products, the Op-total amount of the made products in value terms.
4. Determine the cost of the rejected products and the total cost of the made products for the analyzed period according to accounting. The cost of marriage is reflected in account 28 "Production scrap". The cost of total production can be calculated, having put data on line 020 "Prime cost of the made and sold products" the profit and loss report and data of the balance sheet on the cost of the remains of finished goods and work in progress. Calculate average percent of marriage, having substituted the found values of numerator and a denominator in the specified formula.
