The flakes "Oat-flakes" made from the steamed and flattened out oats, are on sale in any grocery store. Besides usual porridge from them it is also possible to cook useful and nutritious kissel.

It is required to you

  • - 250 grams of oat flakes;
  • - 1 liter of whey;
  • - salt and sugar to taste;
  • - rye bread;
  • - cranberry;
  • - cowberry;
  • - dried fruits;
  • - desi;
  • - sour cream;
  • - honey;
  • - jam;
  • - condensed milk;
  • - gauze or small sieve;
  • - forms.

Instruction

1. Prepare the talker. For this purpose fill in oat flakes with whey. It can be got in dairy departments of supermarkets. But it is the best of all to use the serum which is formed as a result of preparation of home-made cottage cheese or cheese.

2. Put the wetted oat flakes to the warm place. After day on the surface of liquid small bubbles have to appear. Filter the talker through a small sieve or the gauze put in two layers. Try to wring out all liquid carefully.

3. Pour the received liquid in a pan. At will add sugar and salt. Put a pan on the minimum fire and wait until its contents begin to boil. After boiling continuously stir slowly kissel until it thickens. Ready kissel from oats has to gain consistence of liquid mashed potatoes.

4. Pour kissel in the forms greased with a desi. Wait until it cools down, then put in the fridge. After 5-6 hours shake out kissel from forms, water it with sour cream, honey, jam, caramel syrup or a condensed milk and give to a table. The kissel cooked without sugar can be watered with sunflower oil.
