The situation when having chosen is familiar to much and having bought a herring, you found out houses that it is very salty. Don't fall apart and don't throw out a product. This situation can be corrected, having soaked a herring before preparation of a dish from it.

It is required to you

  • herring;
    • strong tea or milk.
    • For preparation of snack:
    • 1/2 glasses of vinegar;
    • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar;
    • 2-3 teaspoons of prepared mustard;
    • sunflower oil;
    • 1 bulb.

Instruction

1. Remove an entrails from fish, having made an incision a paunch of a herring. Cut off a tail and the head, a back fin. Husk accurately fish, cut a carcass on fillet, remove a spine and bones. Peel fillet from a belly nap in a peritoneum.

2. Put fillet of a herring in ware. Pour out in ware liquid so that it covered fillet completely. If a herring fat and friable, then as liquid for soaking use strong tea. If herring lean and dense, then soak its fillet in milk.

3. Leave fillet of a salty herring in liquid for 4-6 hours. Soak fillet of very salty herring 8 hours. Several times replace liquid during soaking. After soaking prepare a desirable dish from a herring. For example, to hot boiled potatoes it is possible to make quite good snack of a herring in acetum-mustard filling.

4. Cut fillet on thin slices, lay them in a herring dish, strew with onions ringlets. Prepare filling: add a teaspoon of granulated sugar, two-three teaspoons of prepared mustard to a half of a glass of vinegar and pour 1 cm on height of a glass of sunflower oil. Carefully mix mix and pour out in a herring dish, let's a dish stand. In half an hour, snack is ready.
