The modern person often stores information on removable electronic devices. But, sometimes for their more comfortable use it is necessary to know how to change the file system on the USB stick, at the same time, without having lost information. To make it quite simply, it is necessary to spend a little time only.
How to change type of the file system of the USB stick?
It will be required to make the following:
- Insert the USB stick.
- Click on it the right mouse button.
- Select the Format item.
- In the appeared window choose that format which you want to make.
- Press the Start button.
Consider that at application of this method all information on the removable carrier will be removed, it is possible to change the file system of the USB stick without formatting, only if you change FAT32 or FAT in NTFS.
For this purpose open Start-up, gather convert of a bukva_disk: / fs: ntfs, consider that bukva_diska is a letter of the removable carrier. That's all, as you can see, it is quite simple. It is easy to find information on name of the removable carrier, for this purpose it is only necessary to open the Properties tab and to look at the name there. By the way, it is better to make it before being engaged to changes of a file format, otherwise, process of replacement of data in the Start-up tab should be begun anew.
How to change the raw file system on the USB stick?
If the document opens, then it is possible to apply some of two ways, first, of course, it can be done by means of the same formatting and also by means of a method which was described above.
But, the raw badge often appears where files are damaged, actually it designates that the system could not define a format. In this case, given to restore, unfortunately, it will not turn out. In such situation it is only possible to format the USB stick, having tried to keep at least integrity of the carrier.
